We have so many different breeds of curly wool sheep, you'll be sure to find the perfect texture for your project!
We have teeswater, wensleydale, masham, blue faced leicester, white faced dartmoor, grey faced dartmoor, Devon and Cornwall Longwool, to name a few!
We also have mohair from our own angora goats plus beautiful suri alpaca locks too!

A touch of frost, silver and blue Blue Faced Leicester wool locks 10gOur Blue faced Leicester loose wool and locks comes from Steph's flock. Blue faced Leicester wool is very soft, and has a mix of crimps and curls, and they are tiny - have a look at the photos to see them in my hand just to show how small and delicate they are! These are perfect for adding top coats to sheep, or for hair on people! This has been hand dyed in a mix of silver and blue tones Colours may appear different on differing screens and monitors.

These locks come from a small flock of grey faced dartmoor sheep kept as pets at pennywort mill holiday cottages. I've visited the farm and their animals are superbly cared for and animal welfare there is paramount. This fibre is from our non slaughter flock of Teeswaters in Cornwall, UK. This means that our sheep are never sent for meat, and as such, their wool is suited to vegetarians and some vegans too! All our sheep taken care of to very high welfare standards, and most have Cornish or Celtic names!

Blackberry Jam, deep purple/pink Wensleydale Curly wool locks, 10g (v)100% hand processed and hand dyed in deep purple/pink tones. These ringlets are from a coloured wensleydale fleece - the fleece is naturally grey and silver with creams, black and brown too. I've then dyed this fleece in a mix of deep purple tones, so the colours throughout are very varied, with some deep and light purples, violets, and pinks. A silvery hue remains when the light catches them too! These Wensleydale locks are approx 5", although some may be a touch shorter or longer, and are sold in a 10g bunch. The fleece is super soft, and is perfect for arts such as needle or wet felting, or for doll making, and other fibre crafts.

Blue and Indigo wavy white faced dartmoor wool locks100% hand processed and hand dyed in a combination of a blue with some indigo purplish hints. These well separated, small but chunky locks are approx 3-5" (some may be a touch shorter or longer) and are sold in a 10g bunch Every single ringlet in each bunch has been hand separated from a fleece, washed, and then small batches were hand dyed in a glacier theme of sky blue and natural white/cream - some ringlets have a dip dye effect, others are full colour. They were then rewashed, and each ringlet separated and laid straight to dry individually, to ensure that there are no 'unnatural' kinks from drying - the waves and curls in each ringlet are the natural structure. The fleece is super soft, and is perfect for arts such as needle or wet felting, or for doll making, and other fibre crafts. Blue Faced Leicester x Swaledale locks, hand dyed in a grey dip, 10gBlue Faced Leicester x Swaledale wool locks, hand dip dyed in a grey mix of tones. Known as a 'mule' one of the most popular sheep breeds in the UK is the result of crossing a blue faced leicester, known for their soft fleeces with a swaledale, which has hardier wool. These locks have a superb crimp, and are very lighweight and soft. They are approx 6" in length, although some may be a touch longer or shorter. These locks come from Steph's Flock, an univisted farm, but friend of mine who keeps this breed of sheep. These locks are perfect for doll hair, or for hair, tails or names on animal makes. They are also great to make beards for gnomes, gonks and tomtes and other magical creatures!
