Felting Mat, 100% UK Herdwick Wool, 2 packNew to our store! 100% UK sourced herdwick wool mats/pads Our brand new felting mats are made from 100% UK sourced herdwick wool, and has been professionally felted onto a centre of hessian. Measuring approx 15cm x 15cm with a thickness of 1cm, these are sold in a pack of 2. Some customers may like to use one mat at a time, while others may prefer to double up to make a thicker mat. Our mats do not have covers, so some customers may prefer to make a cover for them so that the herdwick fibres do not shed onto their work, but this is purely a matter of preference for each artist. Our mats are 100% biodegradable, so when you have finished with it, you can then use it in your garden, for example around tender plants to help reduce slug damages!
