It's made up from a mixture of breeds, and species, and may be a mix of wool, alpaca and mohair, so no batch is the same. We have been working with our local mill to buy their waste wool, which is leftover from their spinning machines. Our uncarded core wool has been been scoured (professionally cleaned), and it may have a very small amount of VM which is easily removed. It's made up from a mixture of breeds, so no batch is the same. We can now offer cream, or brown/grey (which is available to purchase in a different listing) Perfect for stuffing or core wool!

Wool and fibre Scraps for accenting or stuffing and coreIntroducing our "wonky wool"! We all have those "whoopsie" moments when something doesn't quite come out right. But as my grandmother used to say, "everything has a purpose" This wool, mohair and alpaca fibre is the leftovers from processing, when things have not quite gone to plan. As such, it not good enough to make it into my curly wool or ringlet listings but it is perfect for core or stuffing, or accenting work. You can choose from: Pastels Blues Greens Pinks and Purples Naturals (Browns, blacks, silvers, undyed white/cream) Yellow and orange Multi mix - a little bit of everything! It's all been very well washed, but may contain some vm. This fibre is uncarded, hand processed and comes from my flock, or other farms I've visited so you can be sure it's 100% British wool, hand processed and ethically sourced. It is sold in a 50g batch It really is a lucky dip as to what you get, pictures are indicative only, and our stock will change as more whoopsie moments happen! 1) MY PROCESS...

Please note that this will contain some vm (vegetable matter such as hay and straw) so you may need to tease it out of the fibre before use.
