Fairy Moonlight blue and purple valais blacknose loose curly wool and locks, 10g, curly wool

Introducing our new Fairy Moonlight mix - purple and blue shades and colours of valais blacknose loose Curly Wool and Locks!

Hand dyed by myself in shifting shades of purple, soft blue and silvery tones. It’s one of those colourways that changes depending on the light, sometimes leaning more lilac and lavender, other times picking up cooler blue and silver tones.

Our fairy moonlight curly wool and Locks is Valais Blacknose fibre - often called the cutest sheep in the world, these adorable creatures produce a curly and luxurious wool that is great to work with.

This curly wool has been carefully washed and hand-dyed in a beautiful mixture of varying purples with a touch of blues and silvers too!  The result is a stunning colour that shifts under different lighting conditions and somehow has a mystical feel - hence the name that I chose! 

With a staple length of around 5 inches, although some are shorter or longer, this curly wool is perfect for creating texture and adding dimension to your projects. Whether you're making angels, felted dolls, or gnome and tomte beards, these super curls will give your creations a touch of magic.

It has a wonderful lustre and shine, and the curls are bouncy and full of life, making them a fun to work with.  Each 10g bundle contains a mix of loose curly wool and locks, giving you different shapes and textures to work with straight out of the pack.
