We have so many different breeds of curly wool sheep, you'll be sure to find the perfect texture for your project!
We have teeswater, wensleydale, masham, blue faced leicester, white faced dartmoor, grey faced dartmoor, Devon and Cornwall Longwool, to name a few!
We also have mohair from our own angora goats plus beautiful suri alpaca locks too!
Curly Wool and Locks
Mermaid blue green curly wool and locks, 10g (v)100% hand processed and hand dyed teeswater fibre! This fibre has been hand dyed in a selection of light mermaid blue and green tones - please note the fibre is more blue than it appears in the pictures, I could not get true to colour photos on this occasion. The fleece is super soft, and silky, and is perfect for arts such as needle or wet felting, or for doll making, and other fibre crafts. These are from all of our non-slaughter flock of Teeswaters in Cornwall, UK. All our sheep taken care of to very high welfare standards, and of course, have Cornish or Celtic names! Our land on which they graze is managed without the use of man-made chemicals. Mixed Pinks with gold and blonde Teeswater Curly wool, 10g (v)100% hand processed and hand dyed teeswater fibre! This fibre has been hand dyed in a variety of pink tones with some golden and blonde aspects too. The fleece is super soft, and silky, and is perfect for arts such as needle or wet felting, or for doll making, and other fibre crafts. This fibre is from many of our sheep in our non slaughter flock of Teeswaters in Cornwall, UK. This means that our sheep are never sent for meat, and as such, their wool is suited to vegetarians and some vegans too! All our sheep taken care of to very high welfare standards, and most have Cornish or Celtic names! Our land on which they graze is managed without the use of man-made chemicals. mocha (coffee/chocolate) loose curly wool 10g100% hand processed and hand dyed in a mixture of mocha tones, varied browns with coffee and chocolate tones, and some slight golden aspects. This well separated loose fibre has some small curls, and some locks. It is sold in a 10g batch. Each batch has been hand separated from a fleece, washed, and then small batches were hand dyed in a mixture of mid blue tones. They were then rewashed to avoid colour bleed. The fleece is super soft, and silky, and is perfect for arts such as needle or wet felting, or for doll making, and other fibre crafts. There may be a small amount of VM, however they have been picked through thoroughly. This fibre comes from Clives's flock, a farmer close to my own farm. I have personally visited their farm and met Clive, and can confirm he keeps his animals to exceptionally high welfare standards - some of his sheep have attained high rankings in the Royal Cornwall Show! Natural and undyed, these came from Ian's flock, a local farmer who supplies me with winter hay and straw, and I buy fleeces from him Sold in a 10g bunch with an approx 9" staple length. Perfect wool locks, which are really popular for santa beards, tomtes and other fae folk! Great for felting, both needle felting or wet felting, and is popular with doll artists for rerooting, or making wigs. Due to the nature of this fibre, despite being washed mutiple times, a small amount of dirt may remain on some of the tips. This can usually be removed by lightly rubbing, or you could wash out the ends a little more if needed. As with all of our fibre, there may be a small amount of VM in the locks

These locks come from a small flock of grey faced dartmoor sheep kept as pets at pennywort mill holiday cottages. I've visited the farm and their animals are superbly cared for and animal welfare there is paramount.
