Light Lime Teeswater Curly wool, 10g (v)100% hand processed and hand dyed teeswater fibre! This fibre has been hand dyed in a variety of Light Lime tones The fleece is super soft, and silky, and is perfect for arts such as needle or wet felting, or for doll making, and other fibre crafts. This fibre is from many of our sheep in our non slaughter flock of Teeswaters in Cornwall, UK. This means that our sheep are never sent for meat, and as such, their wool is suited to vegetarians and some vegans too! All our sheep taken care of to very high welfare standards, and most have Cornish or Celtic names! Our land on which they graze is managed without the use of man-made chemicals. You can be assured that our sheep will live out their natural lives with us, which makes our products attractive to vegetarians, or those concerned about animal welfare. Light Parma Violet Carded Wool 10gParma Violet carded wool - 10g This light parma violet carded wool has been hand dyed in a tone that is reminiscent of favourite childhood sweets of mine! More about our carded wool: Our carded wool has been professionally carded by the Natural Fibre Company in Launceston, Cornwall. It consists of wools from our own flock, mixed with some Devon and Cornwall Longwool from Tregondale, and some Perendale from Hannah's Flock. Our carded wool felts wonderfully - the Devon and Cornwall Longwool wool gives it a coarser texture, which means it's fast to felt. It's then been hand dyed by myself. To get the best results from our carded wool, take the length and gently pull side to side to free up the fibres, and it will form a mesh that's easy to use in all felted creations and other fibre arts.

Light aqua blue green teeswater curly wool locks, 28g, 14g or 7g100% hand processed and hand dyed in a light aqua theme These super long teeswater locks are approx 6-8" and are sold in a 28g, or 14g or 7g bunches The fleece is super soft, and silky, and is perfect for arts such as needle or wet felting, or for doll making, and other fibre crafts. 28g will be perfect for doll makers who wish to make wigs, or glue the fibre to the doll hair, and will do one standard Monster High type doll For doll makers that prefer to look at the diameter of bunch, it is around 8-10cm, (3-4") which is a good indication of the size head the fibre would cover. There may be a small amount of VM, however they have been picked through thoroughly. This fibre comes from Meadow View - the farm which we bought our teeswater sheep from. These locks come from a small flock of grey faced dartmoor sheep kept as pets at pennywort mill holiday cottages. I've visited the farm and their animals are superbly cared for and animal welfare there is paramount. Lucky Dip Bulk Carded Mix of different fibre 100g - wool, mohair & alpaca mix, for weaving, feltingOur Bulk Fibre listings are aimed at peg loom weavers, spinners, or fibre artists that need to buy larger amounts of fibres. Our bulk fibres are offered at a lower price than our 10g batches, and you will save 4.50 per 100g, a saving of almost 25% off our regular prices! This item is for 100g of a mix of caramel shades There may still be a small amount of VM, which is easily removed. Our carded combed caramel mix has been been scoured (professionally cleaned), and it may have a very small amount of VM which is easily removed. It's made up from a mixture of natural fibres, both species and breeds, so no batch is the same. You may receive wool, alpaca fibre or mohair! Each batch I purchase is entirely unique! The photos are the same piece of fibre under different light conditions, so you can see it can appear dark or light caramel depending on the way the light falls on it. Weaving and Spinning
Masham Fleece, ready scoured, for hand spinners and spinning30g of masham fleece, hand washed/scoured here at Tregaver Fibre. Welcome spinners to our first fleece prepared specifically for spinners! Whether you have a traditional spinning wheel, a drop spindle or an e-spinner, our masham fleece has been well washed and is ready for you to prepare for spinning. It has not been carded or combed This fleece had several areas of heavy VM, and all of these areas have been removed - therefore for the purchase price you will receive a SECTION of fleece, weighing approx 30g. The remaining sections of fleece, which are now for sale are very low in VM, and have been hand scoured to remove the dirt and lanolin. To prepare it for spinning, you may like to card the fibre first, or use as is - it depends on how you like to spin. The staple of these fleece sections is approx 6" - 8", although some sections may be a touch shorter or longer. Made from high-quality wool, our felt is soft to the touch yet durable enough to withstand the test of time. Our felt sheets are 100% wool, and are made in the EU from EU wool. Unfortunately there are no British companies that produce coloured wool felt, so I have scoured the internet for a very high quality wool felt with as little travel miles as I can. This comes from Germany. Our felt is very soft to the touch, is not crinkly, nor does it contain any synthetic fibres.
