Cloud Grey Carded Wool, 10g,Cloud grey carded wool - 10g Featured in our Hazy Skies box, this is the cloud grey that is reminiscent of an incoming shower! More about our carded wool: Our carded wool has been professionally carded by the Natural Fibre Company in Launceston, Cornwall. It consists of wools from our own flock, mixed with some Devon and Cornwall Longwool from Tregondale, and some Perendale from Hannah's Flock. Our carded wool felts wonderfully - the Devon and Cornwall Longwool wool gives it a coarser texture, which means it's fast to felt. It's then been hand dyed by myself. To get the best results from our carded wool, take the length and gently pull side to side to free up the fibres, and it will form a mesh that's easy to use in all felted creations and other fibre arts.

Handmade on our drum carder, these carded batts feature a unique mix of hand-dyed wools and fibres, including curly teeswater locks, tiny blue faced leicester curls, and valais waves. Each batt is lightly carded to maintain natural textures, making them a joy to work with.

Coral and Orange White Faced Dartmoor lamb curly wool and locks 10g100% hand processed and hand dyed in a mixture of coral and orange tones. This well separated loose lamb fibre has some small curls, and some locks. It is sold in a 10g batch. The fleece is super soft, and is perfect for arts such as needle or wet felting, or for doll making, and other fibre crafts. There may be a small amount of VM, however they have been picked through thoroughly. This fibre comes from Clive's flock, a farmer close to my own farm. I have personally visited their farm and met Clive, and can confirm he keeps his animals to exceptionally high welfare standards - some of his sheep have attained high rankings in the Royal Cornwall Show!
