Ocean spray curly whitewater wool (blue/green/natural) 10g100% hand processed and hand dyed in a mixture ocean spray tones, an aqua green/blue with some natural/white aspects. This curly wool is loose fibre, which has been separated but is not in perfect locks. White water is a cross breed of sheep - teeswater and white faced dartmoor. The fleece is super soft, and silky, and is perfect for arts such as needle or wet felting, or for doll making, and other fibre crafts. There may be a small amount of VM, however they have been picked through thoroughly. This fibre comes from Clives's flock, a farmer close to my own farm. I have personally visited their farm and met Clive, and can confirm he keeps his animals to exceptionally high welfare standards - some of his sheep have attained high rankings in the Royal Cornwall Show! Pale Lilac Carded Wool 10gPale Lilac carded wool - 10g This pale lilac carded wool has been hand dyed. More about our carded wool: Our carded wool has been professionally carded by the Natural Fibre Company in Launceston, Cornwall. It consists of wools from our own flock, mixed with some Devon and Cornwall Longwool from Tregondale, and some Perendale from Hannah's Flock. Our carded wool felts wonderfully - the Devon and Cornwall Longwool wool gives it a coarser texture, which means it's fast to felt. It's then been hand dyed by myself. To get the best results from our carded wool, take the length and gently pull side to side to free up the fibres, and it will form a mesh that's easy to use in all felted creations and other fibre arts.

Our 750g craft bags of raw fleeces have been skirted, and all belly wool and very dirty wool has been removed. It contains no marker paint, and has almost no VM throughout the fleece. Our raw poll dorset x mule fleece has been grown by the sheep from my friends Cat and Jer, who are local farmers - and who also supply the silage for my own livestock over winter! As you can see, you will receive sections of fleece, rather than whole fleeces, which ensures that you get the best parts of the fleece, with the minimum of waste when you wash and prepare it for ypur chosen crat!
