Our bulk fibres are offered at a lower price than our 10g batches, and you will save 4.50 per 100g, a saving of almost 25% off our regular prices! This item is for 100g of a mix of caramel shades There may still be a small amount of VM, which is easily removed. Our carded combed caramel mix has been been scoured (professionally cleaned), and it may have a very small amount of VM which is easily removed. It's made up from a mixture of natural fibres, both species and breeds, so no batch is the same. You may receive wool, alpaca fibre or mohair! Each batch I purchase is entirely unique! The photos are the same piece of fibre under different light conditions, so you can see it can appear dark or light caramel depending on the way the light falls on it. Perfect for stuffing or core wool, or for top coats in felting, and can also be spun!

Our Mule locks! Mules are a cross between a Blue faced Leicester and a swaledale sheep. Natural and undyed, these came from Ian's flock, a local farmer who supplies me with winter hay and straw, and I buy fleeces from him Sold in a 10g bunch with an approx 9" staple length. Perfect wool locks, which are really popular for santa beards, tomtes and other fae folk! Great for felting, both needle felting or wet felting, and is popular with doll artists for rerooting, or making wigs. Due to the nature of this fibre, despite being washed mutiple times, a small amount of dirt may remain on some of the tips. This can usually be removed by lightly rubbing, or you could wash out the ends a little more if needed. As with all of our fibre, there may be a small amount of VM in the locks

Our rustic slate pieces come from a quarry just over the Tamar in Devon! After several requests for natural, uncut or untreated slate pieces, I've collated a variety of slate pieces. Wool Nepps Our wool nepps are UK sourced wool, unlike many other online stores! Nepps are used to add textures and definition to wool sculptures or during spinning. I've included a photo of a pumpkin (not included with the sale) with nepps scattered on top to look like a snowy scene! Wool nepps are tiny, uneven sized and shaped felted balls of wool, and measure only a few millimeters, and sometimes smaller or bigger. Currently I only have undyed nepps available, but I will be adding more variations as I create some dye batches.

Unfortunately there are no British companies that produce coloured wool felt, so I have scoured the internet for a very high quality wool felt with as little travel miles as I can. This comes from Germany. Our felt is very soft to the touch, is not crinkly, nor does it contain any synthetic fibres. The sheets are 9 x 12", which is 30 cm x 23 cm They are 400 gsm, and have a thickness of 1.2mm Perfect for felt crafts, our felt can also be used for needle felting, as prefelt. I will be uploading photos of each individual colour, so please bear with me while the felt is in transit - it will be here next week, so any orders for this felt will be dispatched AFTER 28th November, or sooner if it arrives. These well separated locks have been well washed and are a natural undyed colour and are around 9-11" in length, although some may be a touch shorter or longer. These ringlets come from show sheep, so the staple length of these is really rare for this breed that are normally shorn twice a year!
