Gold / Golden Toffee mini curly wool locks 3-6" 10g100% hand processed and hand dyed in a mix of golden toffee tones. These well separated whitewater locks are approx 3-5" (some may be a touch shorter or longer) and are sold in 10g bunch. White water is a cross breed of sheep - teeswater and white faced dartmoor. The fleece is super soft, and silky, and is perfect for arts such as needle or wet felting, or for doll making, and other fibre crafts. There may be a small amount of VM, however they have been picked through thoroughly. This fibre comes from Clives's flock, a farmer close to my own farm. I have personally visited their farm and met Clive, and can confirm he keeps his animals to exceptionally high welfare standards - some of his sheep have attained high rankings in the Royal Cornwall Show! Granite Moss grey green curly wool and locks, 10gThis fibre has been 100% hand processed (very well washed by hand multiple times) and is has been hand dyed in granite moss theme - a grey/silver green mixture of tones This fibre has a beautiful wave and crimp, and is exceptionally lightweight and fluffy It perfect for arts such as needle or wet felting, or for doll making, and other fibre crafts. Ideal for santa beards, gnomes, gonks or tomtes There may be a small amount of VM, however they have been picked through thoroughly. Grey/silver natural dip dyed Blue Faced Leicester wool locks 10gOur Blue faced Leicester loose wool and locks comes from Steph's flock. Blue faced Leicester wool is very soft, and has a mix of crimps and curls, and they are tiny - have a look at the photos to see them in my hand just to show how small and delicate they are! Heather and Pink Budget wensleydale Curly wool, 10g100% hand processed and hand dyed wensleydale fibre! This fibre comes from our budget range - the ringlets are imperfect and therefore not suited to our premium locks and curly wool, however they are perfect for some uses! You can see from the photos that there may be aspects that did not dye well, or the tips were snipped off during shearing. Hand dyed in a variety of heather and pink tones The fleece is super soft, and silky, and is perfect for arts such as needle or wet felting, or for doll making, and other fibre crafts.

Herdwick and Valias Blacknose wool locks 10g for felting and doll hairUnusual but beautiful!I managed to find a herdwick cross with valais blacknose fleece from a fellow sheep keeper.The locks on this one were very interesting - although most of the fleece was white and cream, there are aspects that were grey, silver, and some brown tones tooIt definiately has herdwick in the genetics! You will find some kemp (hollow hair fibres) in these locks, which is a natural characteristic of herdwick sheep, which makes it a coarse fibre.A lovely texture with a clear wave, some locks are almost cream and white, others may have strands of grey and silver, some have brown tones, and some are very dark. Each lock is unique - which is really unusual for a single fleece! So many colours and tones throughout.Each bunch weighs 10g. Carefully prepared to keep their structure, they re ready to use straight from the bundle.

Iris Purple Carded Wool 10gIris Purple carded wool - 10g More about our carded wool: Our carded wool has been professionally carded by the Natural Fibre Company in Launceston, Cornwall. It consists of wools from our own flock, mixed with some Devon and Cornwall Longwool from Tregondale, and some Perendale from Hannah's Flock. Our carded wool felts wonderfully - the Devon and Cornwall Longwool wool gives it a coarser texture, which means it's fast to felt. It's then been hand dyed by myself. To get the best results from our carded wool, take the length and gently pull side to side to free up the fibres, and it will form a mesh that's easy to use in all felted creations and other fibre arts.
