Dark night (Blue, silver, brown) wavy wool locks, Devon and Cornwall Longwool 10gThese have been 100% hand processed (very well washed by hand multiple times) and are dyed in a dark night mixture of tones This fibre has a beautiful wave, and is exceptionally lightweight and fluffy It perfect for arts such as needle or wet felting, or for doll making, and other fibre crafts. Ideal for santa beards, gnomes, gonks or tomtes There may be a small amount of VM, however they have been picked through thoroughly. This fibre comes from Tregondale Farm, set near Bodmin Moor and not far from my own farm - I visited the farm during shearing and picked the fleeces as they were being shorn, so can confirm exceptionally high welfare standards! Please be aware that colours may differ slightly on different PC monitors or phones - these pictures are taken by my digital camera,to give you the most accurate representation possible.

Wool and fibre Scraps for accenting or stuffing and coreIntroducing our "wonky wool"! We all have those "whoopsie" moments when something doesn't quite come out right. But as my grandmother used to say, "everything has a purpose" This wool, mohair and alpaca fibre is the leftovers from processing, when things have not quite gone to plan. As such, it not good enough to make it into my curly wool or ringlet listings but it is perfect for core or stuffing, or accenting work. You can choose from: Pastels Blues Greens Pinks and Purples Naturals (Browns, blacks, silvers, undyed white/cream) Yellow and orange Multi mix - a little bit of everything! It's all been very well washed, but may contain some vm. This fibre is uncarded, hand processed and comes from my flock, or other farms I've visited so you can be sure it's 100% British wool, hand processed and ethically sourced. Weaving and Spinning
Masham Fleece, ready scoured, for hand spinners and spinning30g of masham fleece, hand washed/scoured here at Tregaver Fibre. Welcome spinners to our first fleece prepared specifically for spinners! Whether you have a traditional spinning wheel, a drop spindle or an e-spinner, our masham fleece has been well washed and is ready for you to prepare for spinning. It has not been carded or combed This fleece had several areas of heavy VM, and all of these areas have been removed - therefore for the purchase price you will receive a SECTION of fleece, weighing approx 30g. The remaining sections of fleece, which are now for sale are very low in VM, and have been hand scoured to remove the dirt and lanolin. To prepare it for spinning, you may like to card the fibre first, or use as is - it depends on how you like to spin. The staple of these fleece sections is approx 6" - 8", although some sections may be a touch shorter or longer. The Aurora - 10g bunch teeswater locksOur Nothern Lights Aurora Borealis inspired curly wool locks May 2024, and the rare sight of the Northern Lights was visible across Cornwall! After a poll of our customers, the name was picked for this colour scheme, and this listing is for a 10g bunch of teeswater curly locks from one of our own boys, Ankoth. This bunch is featured in our "aurora" carded wool box too, so you can get the whole selection, or you can also buy these individual colours in carded wool in our store! mocha (coffee/chocolate) loose curly wool 10g100% hand processed and hand dyed in a mixture of mocha tones, varied browns with coffee and chocolate tones, and some slight golden aspects. This well separated loose fibre has some small curls, and some locks. It is sold in a 10g batch. Each batch has been hand separated from a fleece, washed, and then small batches were hand dyed in a mixture of mid blue tones. They were then rewashed to avoid colour bleed. The fleece is super soft, and silky, and is perfect for arts such as needle or wet felting, or for doll making, and other fibre crafts. There may be a small amount of VM, however they have been picked through thoroughly. This fibre comes from Clives's flock, a farmer close to my own farm.
