Wool Cloud - Red/ pink - Mule wool - Blue Faced Leicester x swaledale, hand dyed - 10gOur Mule locks! Mules are a cross between a Blue faced Leicester and a swaledale sheep. Natural and undyed, these came from Ian's flock, a local farmer who supplies me with winter hay and straw, and I buy fleeces from him Sold in a 10g bunch with an approx 9" staple length. Perfect wool locks, which are really popular for santa beards, tomtes and other fae folk! Great for felting, both needle felting or wet felting, and is popular with doll artists for rerooting, or making wigs. Due to the nature of this fibre, despite being washed mutiple times, a small amount of dirt may remain on some of the tips. This can usually be removed by lightly rubbing, or you could wash out the ends a little more if needed. As with all of our fibre, there may be a small amount of VM in the locks

Wool and fibre Scraps for accenting or stuffing and coreIntroducing our "wonky wool"! We all have those "whoopsie" moments when something doesn't quite come out right. But as my grandmother used to say, "everything has a purpose" This wool, mohair and alpaca fibre is the leftovers from processing, when things have not quite gone to plan. As such, it not good enough to make it into my curly wool or ringlet listings but it is perfect for core or stuffing, or accenting work. You can choose from: Pastels Blues Greens Pinks and Purples Naturals (Browns, blacks, silvers, undyed white/cream) Yellow and orange Multi mix - a little bit of everything! It's all been very well washed, but may contain some vm. This fibre is uncarded, hand processed and comes from my flock, or other farms I've visited so you can be sure it's 100% British wool, hand processed and ethically sourced. Wool and fibre Scraps for accenting or stuffing and core 20gIntroducing our "wonky wool"! We all have those "whoopsie" moments when something doesn't quite come out right. But as my grandmother used to say, "everything has a purpose" This wool, mohair and alpaca fibre is the leftovers from processing, when things have not quite gone to plan. As such, it not good enough to make it into my curly wool or ringlet listings but it is perfect for core or stuffing, or accenting work. It is sold in a 20g batch and has a mixture of colours and fibres It really is a lucky dip as to what you get, pictures are indicative only, and our stock will change as more whoopsie moments happen! Please note that this will contain some vm (vegetable matter such as hay and straw) so you may need to tease it out of the fibre before use.

Yellow Mix Carded Wool 10gYellow Mix carded wool - 10g This yellow mix carded wool has been hand dyed in both light and bright yellow tones. More about our carded wool: Our carded wool has been professionally carded by the Natural Fibre Company in Launceston, Cornwall. It consists of wools from our own flock, mixed with some Devon and Cornwall Longwool from Tregondale, and some Perendale from Hannah's Flock. Our carded wool felts wonderfully - the Devon and Cornwall Longwool wool gives it a coarser texture, which means it's fast to felt. It's then been hand dyed by myself. To get the best results from our carded wool, take the length and gently pull side to side to free up the fibres, and it will form a mesh that's easy to use in all felted creations and other fibre arts.

extra long hand dyed ginger Valais Blacknose wool locks, 10g, curly wool100% hand processed and undyed Often called the cutest sheep in the world, I'm pleased to now be able to offer Valais Blacknose fibre! These well separated locks have been well washed and are a natural undyed colour and are around 9-11" in length, although some may be a touch shorter or longer. These ringlets come from show sheep, so the staple length of these is really rare for this breed that are normally shorn twice a year!
