Mule - Blue Faced Leicester x swaledale, hand dyed pale orange- 10g bunch wool locksOur Mule locks! Mules are a cross between a Blue faced Leicester and a swaledale sheep. Natural and undyed, these came from Ian's flock, a local farmer who supplies me with winter hay and straw, and I buy fleeces from him Sold in a 10g bunch with an approx 5-7" staple length. Perfect wool locks, which are really popular for santa beards, tomtes and other fae folk! Great for felting, both needle felting or wet felting, and is popular with doll artists for rerooting, or making wigs. Due to the nature of this fibre, despite being washed mutiple times, a small amount of dirt may remain on some of the tips. This can usually be removed by lightly rubbing, or you could wash out the ends a little more if needed. As with all of our fibre, there may be a small amount of VM in the locks

Great for felting, both needle felting or wet felting, and is popular with doll artists for rerooting, or making wigs, All of our sheep here at Tregaver are a non-slaughter flock, meaning that they will live out their natural lifespan with us, and are never sent for meat.

This fibre has a beautiful wave, and is exceptionally lightweight and fluffy It perfect for arts such as needle or wet felting, or for doll making, and other fibre crafts. Ideal for santa beards, gnomes, gonks or tomtes There may be a small amount of VM, however they have been picked through thoroughly. This fibre comes from Tregondale Farm, set near Bodmin Moor and not far from my own farm - I visited the farm during shearing and picked the fleeces as they were being shorn, so can confirm exceptionally high welfare standards! Please be aware that colours may differ slightly on different PC monitors or phones - these pictures are taken by my digital camera,to give you the most accurate representation possible. natural and silver Valais Blacknose wool locks, 10g, curly wool100% hand processed Often called the cutest sheep in the world, I'm pleased to now be able to offer Valais Blacknose fibre! These well separated locks have been well washed and are a natural and dip dyed in silver and are around 5" in length, although some may be a touch shorter or longer Please note - wool is not white unless it has been bleached or treated, and we never use harsh chemicals on our fibres These super curls have a great lustre, and are great for Angels or felted dolls, gnome or tomte beards too! The fleece is is perfect for arts such as needle or wet felting, or for doll making, and other fibre crafts. There may be a small amount of VM, however they have been picked through thoroughly.
