In this section you will find all of our fibres that have been prepared in different ways - we have carded fibres, tops, batts and felt too!
Carded fibres - we have pure wool, AND natural fibre blends too!
Our carded wool is expertly processed by the Natural FIbre Company in Launceston, and is a mix of both fine and coarse wools to ensure they are great for needle felting, spinning and weaving.
We also have carded natural fibres which are a blend of wool, mohair and alpaca too!
Our Tops are combed wool fibres that have been aligned so they run parallel, and during processing, most short fibers, tangles, and debris are removed. The result is a long, smooth, even rope-like piece of wool fibre called a top.
Our carded batts are made here and carded on our drum carder by hand! A blend of wools and other natural fibres, these batts are perfect for any fibre arts.

Lucky Dip Bulk Carded Mix of different fibre 100g - wool, mohair & alpaca mix, for weaving, feltingOur Bulk Fibre listings are aimed at peg loom weavers, spinners, or fibre artists that need to buy larger amounts of fibres. Our bulk fibres are offered at a lower price than our 10g batches, and you will save 4.50 per 100g, a saving of almost 25% off our regular prices! This item is for 100g of a mix of caramel shades There may still be a small amount of VM, which is easily removed. Our carded combed caramel mix has been been scoured (professionally cleaned), and it may have a very small amount of VM which is easily removed. It's made up from a mixture of natural fibres, both species and breeds, so no batch is the same. You may receive wool, alpaca fibre or mohair! Each batch I purchase is entirely unique! The photos are the same piece of fibre under different light conditions, so you can see it can appear dark or light caramel depending on the way the light falls on it. Perfect for stuffing or core wool, or for top coats in felting, and can also be spun!

Made from high-quality wool, our felt is soft to the touch yet durable enough to withstand the test of time. Our felt sheets are 100% wool, and are made in the EU from EU wool. Unfortunately there are no British companies that produce coloured wool felt, so I have scoured the internet for a very high quality wool felt with as little travel miles as I can. This comes from Germany. Our felt is very soft to the touch, is not crinkly, nor does it contain any synthetic fibres. They are 400 gsm, and have a thickness of 1.2mm Perfect for felt crafts, our felt can also be used for needle felting, as prefelt. This fibre has a beautiful wave and crimp, and is exceptionally lightweight and fluffy It perfect for arts such as needle or wet felting, or for doll making, and other fibre crafts. Ideal for santa beards, gnomes, gonks or tomtes There may be a small amount of VM, however they have been picked through thoroughly. This fibre comes from Tregondale Farm, set near Bodmin Moor and not far from my own farm - I visited the farm during shearing and picked the fleeces as they were being shorn, so can confirm exceptionally high welfare standards! We have been working with our local mill to buy their waste wool, which is leftover from their spinning machines. Wool and fibre Scraps for accenting or stuffing and coreIntroducing our "wonky wool"! We all have those "whoopsie" moments when something doesn't quite come out right. But as my grandmother used to say, "everything has a purpose" This wool, mohair and alpaca fibre is the leftovers from processing, when things have not quite gone to plan. As such, it not good enough to make it into my curly wool or ringlet listings but it is perfect for core or stuffing, or accenting work. You can choose from: Pastels Blues Greens Pinks and Purples Naturals (Browns, blacks, silvers, undyed white/cream) Yellow and orange Multi mix - a little bit of everything! It's all been very well washed, but may contain some vm. This fibre is uncarded, hand processed and comes from my flock, or other farms I've visited so you can be sure it's 100% British wool, hand processed and ethically sourced. It is sold in a 50g batch It really is a lucky dip as to what you get, pictures are indicative only, and our stock will change as more whoopsie moments happen! 1) MY PROCESS...

Please note that this will contain some vm (vegetable matter such as hay and straw) so you may need to tease it out of the fibre before use.

Yellow Mix Carded Wool 10gYellow Mix carded wool - 10g This yellow mix carded wool has been hand dyed in both light and bright yellow tones. More about our carded wool: Our carded wool has been professionally carded by the Natural Fibre Company in Launceston, Cornwall. It consists of wools from our own flock, mixed with some Devon and Cornwall Longwool from Tregondale, and some Perendale from Hannah's Flock. Our carded wool felts wonderfully - the Devon and Cornwall Longwool wool gives it a coarser texture, which means it's fast to felt. It's then been hand dyed by myself. To get the best results from our carded wool, take the length and gently pull side to side to free up the fibres, and it will form a mesh that's easy to use in all felted creations and other fibre arts.
