Light Lime Teeswater Curly wool, 10g (v)100% hand processed and hand dyed teeswater fibre! This fibre has been hand dyed in a variety of Light Lime tones The fleece is super soft, and silky, and is perfect for arts such as needle or wet felting, or for doll making, and other fibre crafts. This fibre is from many of our sheep in our non slaughter flock of Teeswaters in Cornwall, UK. This means that our sheep are never sent for meat, and as such, their wool is suited to vegetarians and some vegans too! All our sheep taken care of to very high welfare standards, and most have Cornish or Celtic names! Our land on which they graze is managed without the use of man-made chemicals. You can be assured that our sheep will live out their natural lives with us, which makes our products attractive to vegetarians, or those concerned about animal welfare. suri alpaca locks,pink purple 8-12", 10gThese mixed length suri alpaca locks range from 8-12" Used for reroots, doll hair and by fibre artists, the fibre is super soft! This fibre comes from Emma's Herd, Moor View up on Bodmin Moor and I've visited their farm and can confirm they keep their livestock to superb animal welfare standards! These are hand dyed in a pink and purple mix. The nature of this fibre means there may be a small amount of VM, and due to the wet winter we had, there may be some remaining dirt, and may be fragile in places, but they have been very well washed.

These locks come from a small flock of grey faced dartmoor sheep kept as pets at pennywort mill holiday cottages. I've visited the farm and their animals are superbly cared for and animal welfare there is paramount. Valais Black nose x Grey Faced Dartmoor light strawberry blonde wool locks 10gThese locks have been very well washed by hand, and the hand dyed in a very pale strawberry blonde tone. . This fibre has a beautiful wave, and is exceptionally lightweight and fluffy It perfect for arts such as needle or wet felting, or for doll making, and other fibre crafts. Ideal for santa beards, gnomes, gonks or tomtes There may be a small amount of VM, however they have been picked through thoroughly. These are offered at a slightly lower price, as the tops of the locks (closest to the sheep) have been trimmed to get out most of the VM. The fibre comes from a cross breed sheep - A valais Blacknose crossed with a grey faced Dartmoor, she is called Tallulah. This fibre comes from Clare's Flock, a friends farm. Goatally Gorgeous Pure Mohair Yarn, Hand Dyed in Carnival blue/cream/pink/purple tones (v)Our Goatally Gorgeous mohair yarn is 100% pure mohair - so doesn't contain any synthetics, wool, or other fibres, like many mohair blends. It was grown by all of the Tregaver Goats - our non-slaughter herd which have a home for us for life. Fibre was grown by Barvus, Barthek and Bolitho, our 3 wether boys, and Boudicca and Baya, our two girls. Professionally spun by the Natural Fibre Company in Launceston, Cornwall, this mohair yarn is spun as a light aran weight yarn, and each hank is 50g , with a length of 90m.

Wool Cloud - Red/ pink - Mule wool - Blue Faced Leicester x swaledale, hand dyed - 10gOur Mule locks! Mules are a cross between a Blue faced Leicester and a swaledale sheep. Natural and undyed, these came from Ian's flock, a local farmer who supplies me with winter hay and straw, and I buy fleeces from him Sold in a 10g bunch with an approx 9" staple length. Perfect wool locks, which are really popular for santa beards, tomtes and other fae folk! Great for felting, both needle felting or wet felting, and is popular with doll artists for rerooting, or making wigs. Due to the nature of this fibre, despite being washed mutiple times, a small amount of dirt may remain on some of the tips. This can usually be removed by lightly rubbing, or you could wash out the ends a little more if needed. As with all of our fibre, there may be a small amount of VM in the locks

Sponsor A Sheep or Goat - buy them a bale!I've been asked many times if I would run a 'sponsor a sheep' or 'adopt and animal' type of scheme. I'm looking into setting this up this year, however, I thought I'd begin by giving customers and website visitors the option to buy the sheep and goats a bale! All sales from this item will go towards either hay or straw bales, or their feed, or vet bills. It must be noted that you will not receive a sheep or a goat if you buy this item! It is a way for me to carry on producing the best quality fibre, from my non slaughter flock and herd, and a way for you to support small farmers like myself, if you don't actually need to buy any of my products. I've hummed and ah'd about doing this - I'm not a charity, and I cover all expenses for the livestock either from my sales, or out of my own pocket.
