Herdwick and Valias Blacknose wool locks 10g for felting and doll hairUnusual but beautiful!I managed to find a herdwick cross with valais blacknose fleece from a fellow sheep keeper.The locks on this one were very interesting - although most of the fleece was white and cream, there are aspects that were grey, silver, and some brown tones tooIt definiately has herdwick in the genetics! You will find some kemp (hollow hair fibres) in these locks, which is a natural characteristic of herdwick sheep, which makes it a coarse fibre.A lovely texture with a clear wave, some locks are almost cream and white, others may have strands of grey and silver, some have brown tones, and some are very dark. Each lock is unique - which is really unusual for a single fleece! So many colours and tones throughout.Each bunch weighs 10g. Carefully prepared to keep their structure, they re ready to use straight from the bundle.

100% Wool Felt, various colours available, prefelt for feltingIntroducing our 100% wool felt sheets Our felt sheets are 100% wool, and are made in the EU from EU wool. Unfortunately there are no British companies that produce coloured wool felt, so I have scoured the internet for a very high quality wool felt with as little travel miles as I can. This comes from Germany. Our felt is very soft to the touch, is not crinkly, nor does it contain any synthetic fibres. The sheets are 9 x 12", which is 30 cm x 23 cm They are 400 gsm, and have a thickness of 1.2mm Perfect for felt crafts, our felt can also be used for needle felting, as prefelt. I will be uploading photos of each individual colour, so please bear with me while the felt is in transit - it will be here next week, so any orders for this felt will be dispatched AFTER 28th November, or sooner if it arrives. PLEASE NOTE colours may appear different on differing screens and monitors.

These are our 'budget' ringlets, so are slightly imperfect ringlets.... they may have a little more VM in them, they may have tips missing, they may have 'fluffed out' and separated slightly or have am uneven take up of dye. Therefore, they are not perfect enough to make it into our superb regular bunches; however, they are perfect for craft projects where a small amount of curly fibre is required. Our budget mixes are always changing - therefore the photos attached are only indicative of the ringlets you will receive. If you need a specific tone or shade, please contact BEFORE purchase so I can see if your needs can be met. These are our 'budget' ringlets, so are slightly imperfect ringlets.... they may have a little more VM in them, they may have tips missing, they may have 'fluffed out' and separated slightly or have am uneven take up of dye. Therefore, they are not perfect enough to make it into our superb regular bunches; however, they are perfect for craft projects where a small amount of curly fibre is required. Our budget mixes are always changing - therefore the photos attached are only indicative of the ringlets you will receive.
