Sponsor A Sheep or Goat - buy them a bale!I've been asked many times if I would run a 'sponsor a sheep' or 'adopt and animal' type of scheme. I'm looking into setting this up this year, however, I thought I'd begin by giving customers and website visitors the option to buy the sheep and goats a bale! All sales from this item will go towards either hay or straw bales, or their feed, or vet bills. It must be noted that you will not receive a sheep or a goat if you buy this item! It is a way for me to carry on producing the best quality fibre, from my non slaughter flock and herd, and a way for you to support small farmers like myself, if you don't actually need to buy any of my products. I've hummed and ah'd about doing this - I'm not a charity, and I cover all expenses for the livestock either from my sales, or out of my own pocket. After being asked several times if I could set up a system such as this, I've finally decided to add the opportunity to my website!

Our driftwood has been dried, and comes in a natural, untreated state. Collected from private tidal land, with the landowners permission, our driftwood bundles have a variety of shapes, sizes and textures, and each piece can really make your art piece truly unique!
Blue
blue and green curly wool locks, 7gIntroducing our new mini locks, mini bunches! 100% hand processed and hand dyed in a blue and green mix theme. These well separated whitewater locks are approx 3-7" (some may be a touch shorter or longer) and are sold in 7g bunch. White water is a cross breed of sheep - teeswater and white faced dartmoor. The fleece is super soft, and silky, and is perfect for arts such as needle or wet felting, or for doll making, and other fibre crafts. There may be a small amount of VM, however they have been picked through thoroughly. This fibre comes from Clives's flock, a farmer close to my own farm. I have personally visited their farm and met Clive, and can confirm he keeps his animals to exceptionally high welfare standards - some of his sheep have attained high rankings in the Royal Cornwall Show! Please be aware that colours may differ slightly on different PC monitors or phones - these pictures are taken by my digital camera,to give you the most accurate representation possible.

Mule - Blue Faced Leicester x swaledale, natural undyed locks - 10g bunch wool locksOur Mule locks! Mules are a cross between a Blue faced Leicester and a swaledale sheep. Natural and undyed, these came from Ian's flock, a local farmer who supplies me with winter hay and straw, and I buy fleeces from him Sold in a 10g bunch with an approx 9" staple length. Perfect wool locks, which are really popular for santa beards, tomtes and other fae folk! Great for felting, both needle felting or wet felting, and is popular with doll artists for rerooting, or making wigs. Due to the nature of this fibre, despite being washed mutiple times, a small amount of dirt may remain on some of the tips. This can usually be removed by lightly rubbing, or you could wash out the ends a little more if needed. As with all of our fibre, there may be a small amount of VM in the locks
