Each box contains a mixture of locks and curly loose wool, from various breeds of sheep such as teeswater, whitewater and, wensleydale and Devon/Cornwall longwool cross with zwartble, Devon/Cornwall longwool/teeswater/zwartbles. grey and white faced dartmoor sheep fibre! Our lucky dip box is fabulous for fibre artists that want a little bit of everything! The fleece is super soft, and silky, and is perfect for arts such as needle or wet felting, or for doll making, and other fibre crafts. Teal dip wavy crimped mini wool locks, hand washed + dyed, 4-6, 7gThese have been 100% hand processed (very well washed by hand multiple times) and are natural and and dip dyed in teal. Please note that wool is not white unless it has been lightened or bleached, and we never use harsh chemicals on our fibres. This fibre has a beautiful wave and crimp, and is exceptionally lightweight and fluffy It perfect for arts such as needle or wet felting, or for doll making, and other fibre crafts. Ideal for santa beards, gnomes, gonks or tomtes There may be a small amount of VM, however they have been picked through thoroughly. This fibre comes from Tregondale Farm, set near Bodmin Moor and not far from my own farm - I visited the farm during shearing and picked the fleeces as they were being shorn, so can confirm exceptionally high welfare standards! This yarn is 100% pure mohair - so doesn't contain any synthetics like many mohair blends. It was grown by all of the Tregaver Goats - our non-slaughter herd which have a home for us for life. Fibre was grown by Barvus, Barthek and Bolitho, our 3 wether boys, and Boudicca and Baya, our two girls. Professionally spun by the Natural Fibre Company in Launceston, Cornwall. This mohair is spun as a light aran weight yarn, and each ball is a 50g ball. It is undyed, so can be used as it is, or you could dye it yourself to your needs. 100% Wool Felt, various colours available, prefelt for feltingIntroducing our 100% wool felt sheets Our felt sheets are 100% wool, and are made in the EU from EU wool. Unfortunately there are no British companies that produce coloured wool felt, so I have scoured the internet for a very high quality wool felt with as little travel miles as I can. This comes from Germany. Our felt is very soft to the touch, is not crinkly, nor does it contain any synthetic fibres. The sheets are 9 x 12", which is 30 cm x 23 cm They are 400 gsm, and have a thickness of 1.2mm Perfect for felt crafts, our felt can also be used for needle felting, as prefelt. I will be uploading photos of each individual colour, so please bear with me while the felt is in transit - it will be here next week, so any orders for this felt will be dispatched AFTER 28th November, or sooner if it arrives.
