Natural Undyed Grey Faced Dartmoor, rare breed sheep (v)These long, grey faced dartmoor locks are approx 6-8" in length. These locks come from a small flock of grey faced dartmoor sheep kept as pets at pennywort mill holiday cottages. I've visited the farm and their animals are superbly cared for and animal welfare there is paramount. These locks have been brushed out, so are perfect for rerooting dolls, or for beards for gnomes, tomtes, or felting figures Grey Faced Dartmoor locks are perfect for doll making, felting, crocheting, and other fibre crafts. Available as a 28g, 14g or 7g bunch. Light Ash Brown wavy wool locks,These have been 100% hand processed (very well washed by hand multiple times) and are dyed in a light Ash Brown They are from Ruth, a sheep who is a Texel x Devon and Cornwall Longwool The fleece is soft, and is perfect for arts such as needle or wet felting, or for doll making, and other fibre crafts. There may be a small amount of VM, however they have been picked through thoroughly. This fibre comes from Clives's flock, a farmer close to my own farm. I have personally visited their farm and met Clive, and can confirm he keeps his animals to exceptionally high welfare standards - some of his sheep have attained high rankings in the Royal Cornwall Show! Goatally Gorgeous Pure Mohair Yarn in Hand Dyed pink, blue and purple (v)Our Goatally Gorgeous mohair yarn is 100% pure mohair - so doesn't contain any synthetics, wool, or other fibres, like many mohair blends. It was grown by all of the Tregaver Goats - our non-slaughter herd which have a home for us for life. Fibre was grown by Barvus, Barthek and Bolitho, our 3 wether boys, and Boudicca and Baya, our two girls. Professionally spun by the Natural Fibre Company in Launceston, Cornwall, this mohair yarn is spun as a light aran weight yarn, and each hank is 50g , with a length of 90m.

These are our 'budget' ringlets, so are slightly imperfect ringlets.... they may have a little more VM in them, they may have tips missing, they may have 'fluffed out' and separated slightly or have am uneven take up of dye. Therefore, they are not perfect enough to make it into our superb regular bunches; however, they are perfect for craft projects where a small amount of curly fibre is required.
