Mule - Blue Faced Leicester x swaledale, natural undyed locks - 10g bunch wool locksOur Mule locks! Mules are a cross between a Blue faced Leicester and a swaledale sheep. Natural and undyed, these came from Ian's flock, a local farmer who supplies me with winter hay and straw, and I buy fleeces from him Sold in a 10g bunch with an approx 9" staple length. Perfect wool locks, which are really popular for santa beards, tomtes and other fae folk! Great for felting, both needle felting or wet felting, and is popular with doll artists for rerooting, or making wigs. Due to the nature of this fibre, despite being washed mutiple times, a small amount of dirt may remain on some of the tips. This can usually be removed by lightly rubbing, or you could wash out the ends a little more if needed. As with all of our fibre, there may be a small amount of VM in the locks

Strawberry blonde curly wool locks, 28g 14g or 7g Masham/teeswater100% hand processed and dyed in a strawberry blonde theme, a fudge/caramel colour with aspects of pinks and orange. I've taken pictures in different light conditions so you can see the difference in the colour of the fibre depending on the light it was photographed in. These well separated teeswater x masham locks are approx 7-13" (some may be a touch shorter or longer) and are sold in a 28g, 14g or 7g bunch. They come from a sheep that is 87% teeswater - 3/4 teeswater and 1/4 masham which is half teeswater. The fleece is super soft, and silky, and is perfect for arts such as needle or wet felting, or for doll making, and other fibre crafts. There may be a small amount of VM, however they have been picked through thoroughly. This fibre comes from Meadow View - the farm which we bought our teeswater sheep from.
