Natural and undyed, these came from Ian's flock, a local farmer who supplies me with winter hay and straw, and I buy fleeces from him Sold in a 10g bunch with an approx 9" staple length. Perfect wool locks, which are really popular for santa beards, tomtes and other fae folk! Great for felting, both needle felting or wet felting, and is popular with doll artists for rerooting, or making wigs. Due to the nature of this fibre, despite being washed mutiple times, a small amount of dirt may remain on some of the tips. This can usually be removed by lightly rubbing, or you could wash out the ends a little more if needed. As with all of our fibre, there may be a small amount of VM in the locks

Coffee and cream curly wool locks, 28g100% hand processed and hand dyed in mixture of coffee and cream tones These well separated whitewater sheep locks are approx 4-7" (some may be a touch shorter or longer) and are sold in a 28g bunch. White water is a cross breed of sheep - teeswater and white faced dartmoor. The fleece is super soft, and silky, and is perfect for arts such as needle or wet felting, or for doll making, and other fibre crafts. There may be a small amount of VM, however they have been picked through thoroughly. This fibre comes from Clive's flock, a farmer close to my own farm. The Aurora - 10g bunch teeswater locksOur Nothern Lights Aurora Borealis inspired curly wool locks May 2024, and the rare sight of the Northern Lights was visible across Cornwall! After a poll of our customers, the name was picked for this colour scheme, and this listing is for a 10g bunch of teeswater curly locks from one of our own boys, Ankoth. This bunch is featured in our "aurora" carded wool box too, so you can get the whole selection, or you can also buy these individual colours in carded wool in our store! All of our sheep here at Tregaver are a non-slaughter flock, meaning that they will live out their natural lifespan with us, and are never sent for meat.
