I thought it would be fun to xplore our best sellers a little more, and give a little more detail!

Today's star of the show are our carded batts.

I hand card all of our batts on my drum carder, and each batt contains a real mix of fibres!

We have some luxury batts, which contain a high percentage of mohair, and silks, which are soft and silky, and they have become really popular with our hand spinning customers who are looking to add a little more luxury to their yarns!  Our mohair comes from our own angora goat herd, and they grow some beautiful fibres which now feature in our batts too! 

Our batts are also really popular with both needle felters and wet felters.

With a mix of wools such as perendale and Devon and Cornwall, with addtions of teeswater, wensleydale, BFL and more, we offer our standard 30g batts, and also have mini batts weighing in at 15g for those smaller projects where you don't need to buy so much!

The whole ethos of my business is to allow people to buy in small amounts, to reduce waste and to cater to those who don't want to buy in bulk, as well as doing bulk deals for those customers who, like Oliver Twist - always want a bit MORE!!
