Budget Suri Alpaca locks, 10g, fawn, 4-6"

Our BUDGET alpaca locks are the "seconds" from a fleece, so this fibre is slightly coarser than our standard lock.  As such, they are offered at a reduced price, but the fibre is still very much useable and lovely! 

Approx 4-6" , these suri alpaca locks have been washed to remove dirt and are in their natural undyed colour of fawn.

Suri alpaca is a cherished fibre as it's very soft

Beloved by doll makers, suri alpaca fibre is perfect for rerooting as it's such a fine fibre, and it can also be used to make wigs or wefts too.

Needle felters love suri alpaca for the natural hair look it gives their creations - from beautiful princesses and fairies, to manes for horses and unicorns, it's the perfect fibre! 

All in all, it's great for reroots, doll hair, spinning and fibre arts!

As this fleece is slightly coarser, it has less static than most suri fibre, which makes it easier to work with, and also easier to needle felt as it's not quite as 'slippery' as out premium locks.
