Approx 8", these suri alpaca locks have been well washed to remove dirt and have been hand dyed in a mix of pastel tones I have called Fairy Dreams - pinks, teals, blues and purples.

Suri locks are one of the most prized fibres in the doll making world - with an incredibly soft feel, they work perfectly for dolls such as Blythe dolls, American girl, Barbie, Monster High as can be used for rerooting, wigs and wefts.

Sold in a 10g bunch, they can be used as dreadlock type styles, or they can be brushed out for a beautiful straight style too.   These are sold UNBRUSHED and I have taken photos of it brushed so you can see both in it's textured state, or what it would look like if you chose to brush or comb.

The reason suri alpaca is a cherished fibre - it takes the alpaca 2 years to grow their fleeces before they are shorn.

It's incredibly soft and silky

Needle felters love suri alpaca for the natural hair look it gives their creations - from beautiful princesses and fairies, to manes for horses and unicorns, it's the perfect fibre! 

All in all, it's great for reroots, doll hair, spinning and fibre arts!
